We have neighbors down the hill whose front lawn looks sorta like this every year at about this time:


Those are the arms of Lichfield...not to mention the legs...on this tuppence token (Davis 87, Withers 820).

I believe this is also the town where the fabulous Resurrection Ale is from...any confirmations?

Second, some of the spookier pieces found with my detector:





(Note the "fault line" in the "half dime" above... it has since not only broken again along that line, but crumbled into several small pieces. Strange, how the metal was all crystallized by whatever burnt or melted it.)
