Pennzoni display card cases

Is it just me or do these suck. Great idea and they look good on the web. I decide to finally use one,(the 12 graded card case wall mount), and can not keep the holders from moving around. First off there is a slot only on the bottom. The top has no slot and it allows the holder to move back and forth. Second each row fits 4 1/2 PSA holders. Why not make it fit 4 or 5 nice and snug. These are really cheap. Anyone have some advice or better card cases to display? Thanks.

Home Depot and build your own. Cheapest and most custom way you can do it.

Built this for my DVDs a few months ago for under $100 and it was the first thing I ever built from scratch

gonna make something similar for memorabilia and cards this winter

DVDs, model cars, WWII, Led Zep and (if my eyes don't deceive me in regards to the figure on the top right of the case), James Marshall Hendrix.

    Thanks guys

It's 8 feet long and 6 feet tall - holds about 1300 DVDs

That Robert Plant photo down the end is autographed from when I met him in 95. One of my life's highlights

Not Civil War books - WW2 books I got from my Dad when he passed - First hand stories from different soldiers. Great stuff
  • I recently bought (2) of the 50-card Wall displays from Pennzoni. The cards are actually supposed to fall foward and lean on the plexi glass. They say it fits 50 cards, but it has 5 rows that can each fit at least 11 cards, and more if they are smaller. The important thing w/ these is that they must be mounted w/ wall anchors to support the weight. They actually look pretty good and I am quite happy with them. The drawback is that everytime you want to add or remove a card the whole thing must be taken down from the wall....they have heavy duty snaps on the bottom corners that can't really be opened while it is hanging...

I have 4 cases and I put two hooks on each side toward the bottom of the case. It causes the case to tilt out slightly allowing all cards to rest against the wood backing. It looks better to me than leaving them leaning on the glass. You can barely notice the case is tilted. I displayed my cases on the show your collection thread if anyone is interested.
  • Dude! Do you watch dvd's for a living? image that is a lot of videos there.

Thanks TJmac. I tried the two nails on the bottom of the display and now the cards stay flat on the wood backing. I did not like the look of the holders leaning forward on the plexiglass.

Kevin, like most FSU fans I thought your reading list consisted entirely of Penthouse and books on tape. I'm impressed! image
