COINFEST - Who's Coming?

Just thought I would remind folks that Coinfest Show will be at the end of October Sat and Sun 27th and 28th
Coinfest is the largest Coin Show in the NY Metro area including NY, NJ, CT
There are several very good World Dealers that are setting up.... many interesting exhibits including
The George A. Fisher, Jr. Memorial Exhibit :
Learn about the history of money in China, and how early money consisted of pearls, jade, gold, spades and knives. Explore how Chinese money eventually settled on a single form — the classic round Pan Liang coin with a square hole in the middle. For nearly two thousand years traditional cash coins retained a similar appearance with only minor variations in script and design until the 20th century and the end of the Qing dynasty. Also included in this exhibit are many examples of money in unusual shapes and forms.
hope to see lots of the forum members....
there is a refreshment get together for forum members on Sat afternoon!
for full info ....

but after reading the posts.... just want to mention that the area has a lot of great activities for spouses like great shopping, sight seeing of the Fall foliage, a wonderful place called the Bruce Museum that has a wonderful permenant collection plus currently is running Eye Candy: Two Centuries of Chocolate Advertising and also another exhibit called A Taste for Chocolate
For those of you with younger children that usually are bored to tears of being walked around the aisles.... then think about spending time with us early Sun. afternoon, as we have probably the best performing magician performing in NY state (he's kind of like Chris Angel)....
and last I wanted to thank the forum members for A. the encouragement they have given me, B. all the suggestions for making a great show, and C. for spreading the word to their coin clubs, friends, and other chat boards etc....
We cant make it a great show without you all....so THANKS!!!!!
PS:..... if you are needing a way to get there.... if you take Train to the Samford station, we at the show are providing a luxury bus from the train station to the Civic Center.....and the bus is free.... no charge to get into the show.... parking is free as well!!!!
