HSN Coin Collector . . . Good or Bad??

what a rip - those guys on HSN should be taken to the nearest jail and booked on grand larceny - they hype things to a point bordering on fraud - selling PR70's ICG's Wash & Adams Prez and Spouse coin sets for $999.95!! - are these guys helping or hurting the coin collecting/investing world - opinions, thougths??
currently putting together a EF/AU/BU 18th & 19th Century Type Set; and CC Morgan Set

There is nothing wrong with ICG graded coins. Their graders a compident and they do grade to ANA standards the same as NGC.
The buyers maybe overpaying for the coins now but if they hold for a few years they will be in good shape.
They have 30 days and will receive the coin, unlike on ebay.
All things considered the TV shopping channels are a good place for beginners to get there feet wet.

I know Littleton got me into coins, even though looking back I see they were a complete rip-off.

Except for their modern department. Also they do a lowly job with ancients. They treat the coins terribly while putting them into holders and I've seen well known counterfeit ancients in ICG plastic.

I like ICG coins, somewhat. And someone did post here a few days ago a counterfeit trade dollar housed in and ICG holder.
