Steps in the NPB process

Thanks in advance for your help. Here goes. It's day 30 since my item sold. I haven't received payment yet. I filed a NPB claim after two weeks, I believe. The 'buyer' hasn't responded to the NPB yet, but he updated the 'Payment sent' icon stating that he sent payment awhile ago. I believe he's lying about sending payment. Anyway, what happens from this point? Is there any type of 45 day limitation on these NPB's? If the buyer doesn't respond after so many days, what happens?

  • Go to the dispute on Ebay and close it using the buyer still has not sent payment option. When you do that he will get a strike and you will get your credit back. If he did not actually respond you can also leave a neg and he can retailiate, but it will not count as anything.
  • I usually file a NPB claim after about 14 days after the auction, then after another 7 days if the buyer has not responded , I close the dispute and get my Final Value Fee refunded and then relist the item and hope it sells and get my relisting fee back. Then I give negative feedback to the bidder and put them on my blocked bidder list. Also you only have 45 days to get your FVF fee back or file a claim. . Make sure to pick the the one option that aslo gives the bidder a NPB strike against his account.
