Does this happen to you????

Have you ever been looking at a photo, magazine and remembered exactly where you were and what you were thinking, or doing at that exact time?

Any memories of the game, major achievment?

Where were you?

What happened?

5 years, 10, 20 years ago?

I have worked at the same place for almost 17 years. Big Mac hit his 62nd Homer. I intentionally worked in electronics that day. Waiting and hoping. Sometimes when I walk through that section at work, I remember what a great night that was. Wow! Cant beleive it was that long ago! Seems like yesterday. Thought it would NEVER be broken again!!
Man I miss the 80's!!!

Whenever I see the clip, I can't help but think of where I was when Kirk Gibson hit his HR in the WS against the A's. Mike's Westview Cafe (a bar) up by UMass. Couldn't believe it - broke the A's spirits. Great bar.

1985 NLCS when Ozzie hit the home from the right side. I was at grandma's house waiting for dinner when my uncle comes in and says that Ozzie has never hit a homerun from the right side. Then boom, "Go crazy folks, go crazy".

  • Those are two great examples. Kirk Gibson is one of my favorites.

At my dads house. I remember thinking " this guy looks really banged up"

the way he kind of limped up to the plate.

    Homerun.

    Game winner.

    Wow!

I will never forget Will Clark hitting the Homerun in the 89 series with the cubs in the 9th.

Awesome. My dad is a Cubs fan. I came out of my room, into the living room and sat down. Will came up to bat and hit it out. I jumped up and said " How do you like that". My dad said " If I were you, I would go back into your room or you might get hurt"!!!!

    November 23rd 1984

Doug Flutie's miracle TD pass to beat the Hurricanes. I was 14 and at my best friend Peter Johnsons house on Riverview Drive hanging out with him and his older sister Heidi had a few guy's over watching the game, me and Pete went into the living room about a minute before that play! Whenever I see this highlight I remember it like yesterday!
  • Hank Aaron's 715th home run back in 1974, that was great to see.

Jan. 2, 1982 Playoff game between the Chargers and the Dolphins, probably the most exciting and greatest playoff game in NFL history.

Google it on the web for details if you don't know about it. What a game!!!!

That's the one, it was an amazing game to watch, great plays all over the place and it lasted just over 4 hours.

Every time I go to the SeaTac airport (in Seattle) I remember watching the Rose Bowl in 1998 between Michigan State and Washington State while I waited to board a plane to study abroad for a month in London. When I got on the plane my beloved Cougars were trailing 14-13. It wasn't until 23 days later that I found out we had lost 21-16.
