PCGS Photograde Online?

messydeskmessydesk Posts: 20,236 ✭✭✭✭✭
I was cleaning out my laptop bag today while I was in a teleconference and found the brochure PCGS gave out at the January 2007 FUN show. One of the things they announced was that they'd have a free, online version of Photograde available starting early in the year. Has anyone seen or heard of any progress in this regard?

When was the last time anything was responded to on the Q&A Forum?

There are many good things that PCGS provides, but one thing that continues to bother me is when they say something but do not follow thru in a timely way. The on line grading set has "been in the works" for well over a year with no real time table to when it will be up. I guess the Set Registry project has priority over this and the Research Archive project. Steveimage

The auction price archive is an extremely valuable free offering.

When the PCGS grading set comes online, it will be another tremendously valuable free resource. It is something that I thought the ANA should have had years ago and would have been a nice perk for paid members.

Still a work in progress for now I think. And wasn't it supposed to be around the begining of next year.
Grading set displayed at Long Beach. Maybe online set around the time of FUN?
  • I have posted the question on the Q/A twice this year....no response.

I just go to the Heritage auction site and click on the past auctions for pictures/grades.

Quoth aforementioned brochure, "... And starting early in 2007, PCGS will greatly expand the content of the original work and post new detailed photos online for all collectors and dealers to use and enjoy anb access will be free of charge!" Perhaps they're still in the Great Expansion of Content phase, but I'd think there'd be some mention of this project on their website if it were actually happening.

I wonder if Phil Arnold is still with PCGS (he is/was their photographer).
