    Hi Mike,

    Well my best guess and with the info I found this looks to be King Khusro II 590-628AD there were many variations of these coins along with Arab-Sasanian and unknown imitations. Looking at the head gear this makes me think it's Khusro II however, there are some indications that this could also be an imitation as well. May I point you to a very good on line source for these coins and that I use to identify my few Sasanian coins I have:

    Looks like a later Khusro II issue. Mint might be Bishapur (I'm rusty on deciphering these squigglies!), date/regnal year is just painful for me to figure out.

    The site Micheál gave is the best reference online and he does have tables of mints and dates at the bottom of the page. The mint is on the right and the date is on the left, both on the coin's reverse.
