What do you guys think of it?

This is the third time I've seen it for sale in the past year.

It was sold on ebay (I believe last December or so) for about $2300 BIN. Pic from that ebay auction below.

Recently sold on Heritage for $2772 including the juice (link below- with recent talk about photo usage, I figured it best to just give the link).

It is now on eBay: Ebay

My question is, why do those three cuts on the face look different on each picture? It's interesting how different the same coin can look in different lighting with different cameras etc... Heritage is the only one of three that mentioned them. I believe I prevoiusly bought a coin from the current ebay seller and didn't have any problems at all... but I believe marks of this nature should be mentioned.... anyone else have any input?

The seller previously was an active forum member here. He sells some cool coins, but imaging was never his strong suit. Nonetheless, by all accounts, he is a reputable dealer and will refund your money if you do not like the coin.

Having said that, I personally would wait for an example without the three cuts on the face as these coins are fairly common.

Agreed. These are very popular and sell for strong money, but are common enough that it is worth searching for a PQ for the grade example.

Fairly Common must be a relative term! I have been semi actively watching for a nice type example Flowing Hair Dollar. It is not often I find one in a grade I can afford AG - VG, regardless of if I like it.

I bid on that coin but have been outbid. ;-(

Editted to add: I have also bought an expensive coin from this seller with no problem.
Give Blood (Red Bags) & Platelets (Yellow Bags)!
