Congratulations to the Corso Collection on the upgrade in 1938-1964 Jefferson Proofs with Varieties. A 1939 PR67 was upgraded to PR68. I can't believe that I was bidding in the same auction and didn't see the top pop. Frank, you got it cheap (or at least cheaper than if I hadn't been asleep at the wheel !)

It was the Teletrade coin from last Wednesday lot 1166 and it did go relatively cheap probably because of the mediocre photo. I did take a chance on this coin since they do not come to market often.

I received the coin Saturday (Teletrades shipping has been outstanding) and it was a solid Pr 68 with a light cameo.

In my opinion a great buy for the price and BTW contrary to other opinions I got it for less than my max bid.
