1877 PCGS MS66RD's...how many are there?

(crossover post from the US Forum, I often get better responses over here)

I've always found this date and condition interesting.
The IH key, and one of the true classic keys of all US coinage.

Amazing, with all the potential crackouts, its pops in 66RD has only increased by 1
in the last seven years. The pop is now 6/0 for 66RD, the PCGS POP Report of Aug 2000
showed 5/0. My guess is that 1 coin increase was a crackout since no "new" 66RD 1877's
have surfaced in the past 7 years.

So how many are there really? Maybe only four?

A couple have resurfaced in the past year or so.

1) The ex Epstein green label example, sold as part of the Sante Fe collection in the 2007 ANA (Heritage pic)
2) The "unknown pedigree" blue label example, sold Aug 2006 by Heritage, prev sold Aug 16 1999 by Heritage,
image no longer available but trust me on this one. (Heritage pic)
3) The Gorrell green label 2003 FUN example (Heritage pic)
4) The Blay blue label example, bought raw from Stacks (my pic)

I think these are the only four PCGS 66RDs. If anyone out there knows differently, please post.

And who owns these 3, besides the Blay?
The Carnton PCGS registry set owns one, probably either the Gorrell or the "unknown pedigree" example.

You might certainly be right but I'd doubt that someone would take such a big risk.

"The Carnton 1877 is not the Gorrell specimen. It was purchased from EERC in 2/2001. It would most likely fall under "unkown pedigree"
confirms a 5th example, since all the others (except the Blay) has changed hands since 2001.
