Field of Dreams is on AMC....and they have pop-ups running on the screen (ugh! so very annoying) but their was a blurb about how the "real" moonlight graham lived in Chisolm etc. etc. etc.

I hadn't realized he was based on a real person (including all his quirky behavior and details about his life, wife the umbrella he carried all the time etc)

Anyhoo, it's one of my favorite baseball movies... and theres nothing else on

Is that the sequel to "The Blob vs DMAT" starring David Ortiz and Daisuke Matsuzaka? In that flick, David "The Blob" Ortiz battles DMAT and wins with a fiery breath of red hot fire and a splash from the top of the green monster.

There was a TV show called Jake and the Fat Man. Sarring David Wells Pitching on the Road at The Jake.

In the last show, he ate all the Hot Dogs and trashed The Jake with the wrappers then waddled his way the West Coast.

Was there a trail of beer bottles where he could be tracked? I wonder if he filled his big head with helium if he would literally rise off his feet.....

There was a real Moonlight Graham, but the timing was all wrong. Not sure why they felt like they had to change the facts about when he was born, when he played his one game and when he died.
