Currently on site there is no limit. Also I searched completed submissions page and many had just 2 coins. Likey they are beening flexable as mint is limiting the amount one can order. Plus the 5.00 "handling" fee compensates somewhat.
A customer service rep. at Pcgs told me Friday that I could submit my 2 Jefferson Spouse coins under the Modern tier, which is supposed to be a 5 coin minimum and a $300 max. value per coin.He said as long as I didn't declare more than the $300 value per coin it would be ok.
Wish that had been published about a week and a half ago! I thought you had to declare a realistic value (...no jokes about them tanking on eBay), and since they cost $400+, wouldn't PCGS just have upped the value and requested more from the submitter? Looks now like if you're willing to forego insurance on the return trip, you could just submit everything under the modern tier. Hmmm.
I made two submissions of spouse coins under the Regular Service, each with 2 coins. Submission #1 had the Martha & Abigail coins (non-FS), and the 2nd had the Jeffs (FS). PCGS handled them just fine, without the 5 coin minimum. Both orders are on their way home now. ( Only 69s....)
