    You might have, as I understand it, Eliasberg had a lot of 1883 No Cents nickels and they were all slabbed by PCGS. One of the more affordable Eliasberg coins.

    I read somewhere there was an original roll sold in his auction and the winner had them all slabbed so there are least 40 out there.

    Those were among the coins from the '96 sale that I figured people just wanted an Eliasberg souvenir and weren't ever going to find a profit on. LE had some remarkable coins in his collection, but he also had a lot of numisjunk. It was more excusable in the Reiver case because he at least had an eye on rare varieties.
