1994 Quarter, is this a DDR or strike Double Huge Pic

Sorry, I know everyone asks this question, but I am still learning. I have attached a big picture below and there is a huge spread on all the letters and obvious doubling on the E Pluribus Unum and United States. I checked Coneca and they do not list anything for 1994. Thanks for your help. If CladKing knows this one to, I will bow to him, lol.

  • Hello,

Nothing in the Fourth Ed. Cherrypicker Guide. All I see is a bit of strike doubling but quarters aren't my area.

    Good luck.

I think it could be die deterioration doubling....
  • I think you may be right, it seems to be a really worn out die. Anyone else with an opinion?

    Die deterioration doubling.

The "U' in "UNUM" looks like it could be mechanical doubling.

I can't really see the other doubling but there's plenty enough die wear for die deterioration doubling.

A different camera angle might be helpful.
