I'm not going to watch Frank TV. No matter how much of his stupid impressions you cram down my throat, I will never find him funny, because he's not. There's no need to show me a great new hilarious impression of John Madden during every commercial break. You know what I see when he does an impression? A fat guy doing a bad impression of (insert celebrity here).

And while I'm at it, piss on Chevy and John Mellencamp. I'm a Chevy guy, but Jesus tap dancing Christ, enough all ready. I thought that with a new football season they would try a new marketing angle that didn't drive the entire country nuts, but here we go again. Yeah, Chevy, John Mellencamp, American traditions, I get it. Now I'm going to go buy a Ford.

    TBS sucks. They butchered the Red Sox / Angels broadcast.

    I don't know about the Sox series, but it would have been better if they used American League guys for the Yanks/Indians series. They're just not familiar enough with the players. I mean come on, Tony Gwynn and Bob Brenly? Hey I admire Tony hugely, he's a class act, but calling the game he sounds just awful.

    Do what I do: turn down the volume just low enough so you don't have to hear the endless idiotic cackling of the announcers, but just high enough so that you can hear if a big play is happening.

    I used to think the FOX guys stunk, and I would mute the tv and put the local radio guys on. The FOX guys are awesome compared to these dorks.

    Yeah, those Frank TV ads are pretty annoying. It's almost as if TBS bought the the broadcast rights to push that show.

    It would be odd to see all four series ending in sweeps. There would be no baseball for a few days. image

    I'm not sure what network will have the NLCS, but you know those guys are praying its not Arizona-Colorado. That series would potentially be the least-watched baseball playoff series, ever.

    And so would plenty of other fans if the idiotic heads of MLB and the networks who televise games during the year would show teams other than just Boston, LA, and NY.

    I simply can not take much more of these tiresome Frank TV ads. Knowing I won't be seeing them after this first round of playoffs *almost* makes it worth the tradeoff of enduring McCarver.
