I just failed the alcohol test - my blood alcohol level is at .4 trying to forget this Phillies loss.

    I am embarassed to say that when I got all of those PSA 10's on a sub two years ago, I was using HGH. I will now use a sharpie to put asterisks on them...


    Now that I think of it, it wasn't HGH, it was MGD. Is that prohibited? I may have to go back to the High Life. image

    I of course understand what you're saying, but I think this is a lot more painful...making it into the playoffs and just getting blown away. Not making it to the playoffs the past few years was a lot less painful than this.

    The town of Philly just sucks. I'm sooo glad that I only have to go through this crap once a season, cause if I had to morn
    all my teams then I would be drunk more than I would like.

    Im just waiting for the Phils to make some more cost cutting thrill deals, like trading Rollins and Hamels for a pair of over the hill
    pitchers who can waste away in our bull pen of horrors. That sickening fact is that old Chuck Manuel would be back for
    another year, and this short foray in to the playoffs, only gives him a few more years.


    I still think Ryan Howard would be a better QB than McNad!

    Kyle Lohse was so bad the Reds traded him to the Phillies, karma for stealing Pete back in the day?

    I wish the Phillies would just forfeit the 3rd game and get it over with. But I suspect they'll windup playing the game. And it wouldn't surprise me if they win game 3 and 4, and then of course lose game 5 so they can torture me some more.

    I hope you Philly fans are posting tongue-in-cheek. It does look bleak, sure, but several teams have come back from an 0-2 deficit to win the wildcard round. Have some faith!! image

    please, Hamels was our only pitcher, after that we would of been lucky to get one win with the other crap we have on the
    pitching staff. I was hoping that Cole would win 2 and we could get a win from one of the other crappy pitchers we have.....but
    heck, we can't even get 4 innings out of these guys. Is it too much to ask Moyer to come in and pitch a 9 inning complete
    game shutout in Colorado?

    Were they really throwing things at Mesa?
