Chipping away at a 1964 Topps Giants set - now over 50% complete with extras

Hi Guys, For about 4 months now - I have been chipping away at a 1964 Topps Giants set. I just crossed 50% by getting in my 31st card (60 cards in the set). They are all PSA 8 NQ now but I will try to get in a few PSA 9s at some point. I have been mainly buying lots at a good price with only one shipping charge. I can't see paying $10 for a card and then $4 shipping on top of that. I have been averaging about 60% of book value which means about $8-$9 for commons (plus $1-$2 for shipping). I have had some lots that had a few players that I already had in my set. Therefore, I now have 6 extras on the side. Does anyone else have any extras on the side also?     Neil, go for those 9s!

    I've got my set up to about 42% (although I haven't been really active on it for the past few months) in nearly all 9s with 8s on the SPs and the Aaron card. It's a very cool set and not too expensive too!

    Here is the situation guys. I went thru all of the cards that I have and I discovered that some that I had got in recently had some holder damage. These were part of a large lot so I am stuck with them. Out of the 9 extras, there were 7 with some small holder cracks on the edges (the cards were not affected) and 2 that were fine. If anyone who is willing to send any of these in to be reholder would like to make me an offer on them, let me know. The shipping on the entire lot of 9 cards is $8-$10 (due to the weight).
