What tier do you use at Pcgs to get the Jefferson spouse coins graded?

I have one of each and am guessing I will have to submit thru regular @ $ 30 ea. plus $10 ea.for 1st strike. Is this correct. If I wanted to submit under economy with 5 or more coins will they accept the $300 max value per coin on the spouse coins?

Perhaps it's time for PCGS to raise the $300 cutoff to $600. There aren't many coins left that qualify.
  • They just reduced the pricing for grading these 2 weeks ago. Before that you needed a 5 coin minimum for the regular service, and would have had to pay $50 per coin.

That's what I did last week & the coins have been graded and are on way back, already.
  • Seems like a modern coin to me. What is the dollar cut-off for Modern? I did not see a Gold exclusion and have used the Modern tier for several $5 gold commeratives.

For some odd reason, I thought it was $500 last time I looked.... but I just checked, and it's $300. image
  • It has been $300, so a quarter ounce gold would fit under that limit.
