basic design registry set: rules clarification...

I'm currently debating replacing my ms66 merc with a ms64FB. but when I enter the new coin I'm losing points! I thought the ms66 was worth 63 points(-3 deduction) w/o the FB distinction. anyone know what's going on here?

The "No Suffix" deduction for Mercury dimes in
the PCGS Type Set Registry is only 2 points, as
    shown here:

    ...well...

    ...never mind.

    Carry on.

Ok, let me have a go at this again.

In the set you are working on, the Mercury Dime
    is weighted by 2.

In my set, you take the grade times the weight,
and then minus out the deduction times the
    weight.

If it works the same way for your set, you would
double the MS66 for a 132 total, and then minus
out the 3 point deduction twice, which would leave
    you a total of 126.

Replacing the MS64FB would just be a matter of
taking the 64 and doubling it, for a 128 total, with
    no deductions.

So, if it works this way, you would be better off
by 2 points if you swap out the 66 for the 64FB.

But, as you have shown me, not all of the sets
work the same way. If you only minus out the
deduction for the bands once in your set, instead
of twice, you would actually lose 3 points on
    the trade.

So, anyway, I'm rambling now, so I'm going to
    stop.
