And also thanks IrishMike - seeing you say that is a badge of honor - we'll continue to do our best to live up to your high expectations of us. Next time your favorite team comes to Philly, we'll be sure to boo your team extra hard just for you.
<< <i>Congrats to the Yankee fans, Boston fans, Colorado fans, Arizona fans, Cub fans and to the Phillies team. Their fans deserve no congrats. As shown here Philadelphia fans are the worst in professional sports, bar none. >>
Is this for real or a joke?

I have to disagree with IrishMike. I've read where there's a professional sports league on some South Seas island, whereby the fans of the winner of the game get to cook and eat the losing team's fans. I have never witnessed Philadelphia fans cooking and eating other team's fans so I think it is incorrect to state that Philadelphia fans are the worst in professional sports when these fans on this South Seas island certainly in my opinion appear to be worse than Philadelphia fans. Maybe in Dallas the fans are actually the worst but I can't say because I've never been to a professional sports game in Dallas, and perhaps the Dallas fans also cook and eat all the reporters so no information ever gets out about what happens after the game.

I say kudos to the 5,000 Cub fans that Lee Elia blasted, as those are the true fans and not the ones there just for the 81 game party.

Oh I don't know about that. I've always been a bit suspicious of Philly Cheese Stakes, and my Uncle Louie has been missing for a very long time

I would have preferred Gretchen Mol

I do agree, for the most part.
Many ( not all ) Cub fans are enthralled with the Lovable Loser mystique, Many see the games as a social event , not a sports happening. More of a trendy or IN thing to root for the Cubs , rather than real baseball interest. I know there are lots of true BB fans, loyal to the Cubs, but even more who view the team as a symbol of a social status.
<< <i>I don't know, I think the Cubs fans are the wosrt because most of them don't even know anything about baseball. I remember back in 2001 or so taking a leak in the troughs and lambasting Baylor loudly in the bathroom for one of his poor moves. I said something to the extent of "he should have learned better from the Oriole way." People were saying, huh, Orioles? What are you talking about?

Cubs fans being the worst. I hope you are not serious. Arizona's stadium tomorrow will be half Cubs fans. Sure their are alot of people on the bandwagon, but that should be expected with a nation wide following like the Cubs have.
