Is anybody else having trouble with ebay item #180164507937

Hi, I was just wondering if anybody is having truoble with ebay item #180164507937. For some reason my page freezes up when I go to that item. I want the card bad too and it won't let me go to the page and bid. Can somebody check this out to see if its happening to you too? If so, what is going on? Whats happening? I never experienced this on ebay ever before. Thank you for your timeimage

Oh yeah thats a great card too. I already have one of those but thank you very much. I need that Topps Style image lol. Do you happen to have any 2001 Greats All-American autos of anybody?

No, I dont have any of the All American Autographs. Those are pretty tough to come by if I am not mistaken. I do love the Topps 52 Style autographs. I wish more sets looked that nice!

Yeah i've been looking for those All-Americans. I do have one of them which is Mikan but can't seen to find any other onesimage I love that set, I even love the base set of those cards, have you seen them? There are a beauty, I love the colors and everything! Wish I could find the autos lol. I wana get that Mikan All-American graded by PSA one of these days. So why don't have a Basketball HOF Autograph collection on the registries? Or do you already? Not sure who everybody is on the registry.
  • Yeah they did a great job with the Toops Style and the managed to get a lot of players for the signing, nicely done.
  • By the way, in your opinion, which do you think is a better card, the Mikan Inscriptions which is in my Set Registry Registry or the Greats All-American Auto?

I actually don't have anything graded yet. One of these days I will get around to it, but for now I am really focused on football HOF Autos.

I personally don't think you can go wrong with any Mikan autograph. I think the best one is the Inscriptions, simply because he signed it "Mr Basketball." I think its so unique, if I had a choice between the two, I would take that one even though I think the All-American auto is probably harder to find.

I have the 97 (I think???) Topps Reprint auto. I really liked this card the best when I was looking for Mikan because its on the 48 Bowman. Its a very sweet card in my opinion, thats probably undervalued.

Yeah I try to stick with one sport or i'll get lost! Football and Baseball is way to big for me, i'll have to stick with Basketball. Theres to many players for the other sports so i'm good with Basketball right now. How are you doing with your Football Collection? Do you have a Registry for Football HOF Autographs? Always love to see some scans of cardsimage

Yeah the All-American is numbered to 46 and the Inscriptions is numbered to 100 with Mr. Basketball. So the Inscriptions got Mr. Basketball and the other one has a low numbering of 46 so it can probably go either way with people.

Oh yeah, talking about that Mikan Topps card, I have one up right now and it has a very nice auto to it!

    MIKAN TOPPS AUTO!

I was able to load that ebay page with my Firefox browser. Then I tried with my IE browser and had the same problem you guys had...the page just froze. If you don't have Firefox you can download it free from-- www.mozilla.com -- Firefox was rated the #1 browser last year and it's always been reliable. Even if you don't like the setup of the browser, you can keep both, and just use your regular browser as your default. Firefox always asks you upon startup if you want to use Firefox as your default browser.

    Hey Giovanni,

Did you figure anything out about the auction? Was ebay able to help? Who are you looking for your NBA Hall of Fame set? By the way, great looking Mikan! Why are you selling him?

Hey Reese, ebay wasen't able to do anything for meimage They just helped me with that computer cookie thing LOL, you know how to delet cookies on your computer(whatever that is lol). Didn't help anyway, still had the problem, guess I won't be bidding on that Arizin. Lets see who am I looking for, for the set? Everybody! HAHAHAHA I only have like 10 or 15 cards so far. I recently started with this set. Actualy I am going thru surgery and times are kinda hard these days, I went for surgery back in Feb. of 07 and i'm going for my second one in Nov coming up so I have been selling off some of my stuff to help out with some extra bills and stuff. I actualy already have the Mikan in my set registry so I don't need another and I also have the All-American which I wana get graded some time soon so I don't really need the Topps Mikan, its a great looking auto but i'll rather have the one I have right now in my registry. But that Topps I have up right now is the best I have ever seen for that card and any autographed card of Mikan for that matter. So, whats new for you? Ok, talk to you laterimage

Thats too bad about the Arizin. At least its not real difficult to find. Good luck with the set. I really enjoyed putting it together and one of these days I will get around to adding the final guys. I've been spending all my cash on Football HOF'ers. I'm gettit ng close to finishing that one, but the final guys are really tough to find and expensive.

Good luck with your surgery. Hope everything works out for you. Good luck with sale of the Mikan. It is a great looking card! If there is anyone you need help tracking down, let me know and I will keep eyes open for you.

    Thanks for everything Reeseimage

Luck is not all i'm going to need to complete this set LOL, i'm gona need a lot of cash, alot of time and yeah lots of luck too HAHAHAHA LOL. Yeah I know I can imagine being hard to track doewn the last few people, which ones do you need to complete the Football set? By the way, do you do Baseball HOF Autographs? Yeah those Football autos can be so expensive! Thanks, everything is ok for the first surgery and everything should be fine with this one too, I sure will be doing a lot of computer when i'm home from the surgery lol. I can always use a high end Basketball auto, do you have any? Maybe I can trade you for the Mikan I have up right now? I really only look for serial numbered autos of HOF members. Thank you so much for the thought, your coolimage Do you have any of the new Chronology cards of any HOF? Guys like Lovette, Risen, Housberg and others? You know those Decades autos, i'm looking for those and would definetly trade for the Mikan. I know the Mikan is not serial numbered but it sells for a lot more than those players. They sell anywhere from $15 to like $80 sometimes, depends on whos watching. That Mikan usualy sells for like $100 sometimes even $150 or even $90, again depends on who sees it at the time. Ok Reese, thanks againimage

The topps Mikan is actually the one I have, but thanks anyway. I picked it up like a month before he died for $65. I am at my girlfriends house right now, but I can send you a list of what I've got when I get home. I dont have any of the new chronology. It looks like a nice set, plus it has a few HOF'ers that didn't have certified autos in the past.

Like I said, basketball hasn't really been a big priority for me for about 2 years now. Of all the football HOF'ers, I need 16 or 17 more autographs of the 241 members. Off the top of my head, I am missing Charles Bidwell, Joe Carr, Guy Chamberlin, Fats Henry, Paddy Driscoll, Fritz Pollard, Bill Hewitt, George Preston Marshall, Curly Lambeau, Walt Kiesling, and the great Jim Thorpe. Alot of the guys don't have certified autographs so what I've been doing is finding index cards and having Knuckles create cuts cards for me. If you haven't seen some of his work yet, just type the name "Knuckles" in the search function and you will get some cool threads come up.

I've got a few baseball HOF'ers. I know Ive got Warren Spahn, Cal Ripken Jr, Bob Feller, and a couple of others. Nothing too exciting. I looked at the checklist because I was interested in starting it, but it would be impossible, expensive, and would take forever.

I might have some other basketball stuff you may be interested in. I'll send you a list as soon as I get a chance to look through everything.

    Take it easy Giovanni,
    Reese

  • Thanks Reese, I never knew about this guy that makes the cut autos, he does such nice work! HOw in the world does he do it? What machines does he use? This is a great idea to get some old timers who never had an auto card. Does he have a website? If he dosen't he should!

The only Baseball HOF Autograph I have is Brooks Robinson, its some kind of Inscriptions card that numbered to 99 and includes his inscription "Hoover" in BGS Mint 9 and 10 for the Auto. No Football but I would like to get a nice Unitas one of these days. I'm sticking to Basketball right now and that Cut Signature stuff is really great, thanks again Reeseimage

No problem, getting in touch with Knuckles gave me a way to fill the gaps for guys that didn't have cards in the football HOF. The one I would like to have done is Maravich. Instead of paying $5000 for hacked auto from upper deck, I could get a check or index card for $500 and have Knuckles create a card for $100. Just need to find a nice auto image

    Hey Reese,

I was wondering if anybody else is doing this with cards? Do these cards actualy hold any value to them? Do you know of any high priced sales on ebay or anywhere else? Thats a great idea for the Maravich, I know the prices are crazyimage Wish I could afford one from Upper Deck instead of a home made one lol, but I guess I must do that because theres noway I can spend $3,000 to $5,000 on a card! I think checks make a better card than just a plain index but if you can't find a check then the index will definetly do. Alright Reese, talk to you later, take careimage

I don't have any idea about the value. I know he sells them on ebay every now and then. I think most people just have them made for their own personal collections. Check out ebay id "shutoutkings", if you look at his feedback you can see some of his sales and some of the other cards he has made. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
