  • How did Leroy send them back to you?Insured, delivery confirmation or any other type tracking?
  • I'm sure there was some sort of USPS tracking on the package ...

You wouldn't be that dumb not to have it on your envelope ...

I'm sure everything is fine unless they were sent in those pesky bubble wrap packages that get caught in the sorting machines ... and ripped wide open ... then ... worry ...

The Post Office? Coins? Worry! Worry! Worry!

As always, registered, insured.Let me say this, that Leroy is the fastest gun in the west when it comes getting your coins back to you.He shipped the 12th,should have been here within 5 days, that's what it usually takes from him to me.I'm getting a little worried.
  • Check the tracking numbers. I just sent a $600 coin to someone and they emailed me after about 10 days wondering where their coin is. Turns out he wasn't home when delivery was attempted and the mailman forgot to leave the usual notice. The package had been sitting at the post office for a week and he had no idea.
  • Thanks everybody for the help. Will try to track it down.

    Sound advice.

They show up late about a quarter as often as they don't show up at all.

Leroy always sends stuff registered (assuming you enclose funds for it), which can take mysteriously long amounts of time. Ask him for the tracking number and contact the PO and ask them if they can determine WTF. Chances are when you ask them is the day the coins will arrive. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Leroy still enjoys looking at new things people send him, and makes sure he gets them done and in the mail as soon as possible, presumably to reduce the expected number of coins that aren't his that are in his possession at any given time.

I was concerned recently with a coin purchased on the BST...but the wait was well worth it. Registered insured packages require signatures and that slows the process considerably. The seller was even getting concerned about the time frame.

I recently had a non registered bubble mailer take over two weeks to get to me. Package looked fine, no damamge, no idea why it took so long. Registered can really take a while. Do some tracking before you panic.
