I put it on the Liteside in addition to the MD forum and my own forum at 24, but usually I don't post my "dig stories" here for fear of being OT, since most of what I dig is Liteside, of course. Everything dug in this particular story was also Liteside, but the Maria Theresia thaler made it into the story by virtue of the prank I played with it. So there is a token Darkside coin mentioned.

Maybe one day I will dig another Spanish real or King George copper, and be able to post a dig story here, too, without it being OT.

That was a very unusual Maria T coin. It looked like it may have spent some time in the ground. Not shiny and new like so many of them are. I believe it was a 1954 Rome Mint.
