He looks like a right-handed Robert Redford from "The Natural" in that picture. I have an '82 Topps card of the same guy.

    Rusty Kuntz at Baseball-Reference.Com

Russell (Rusty) Kuntz. 277 Games; 104 Hits; 5 Home Runs; .236 Career Batting Average; and yes ... 1 World Series Ring (1984 Tigers). I think I might trade my name for that ring.

I actually was a bat boy on the team he played for at Stan St. We used to tease him that his middle name was Harry!! He was a pretty good sport about it.

  • Okay, I worked with an art teacher by the name of Richard Wacker. No lie. Scout's honor.

When he brought up his name one time, I played dumb. It was awesome listening to this poor guy try to explain that many Richards go by the name "Dick."

I currently have a sixth-grade student named Khizer Butt. Pronounced "Kisser" Butt. Poor lad.
