Condition terminology: a "Corner Pull" ???

What's a "Corner Pull?"

Quoted from Joe's "Taking my Hacks" column from the November SMR (where he describes the opening up a 1952 Topps pack at the National):
"...all of the cards had varying degrees of corner pulls, which is very common for those who risk opening original packs."

Is that like a "corner ding" or something?

I think it's the bend you get in a corner from pulling too hard where the wrapper opens if the glue or wax sticks.
