Toners and dealers?

Since there is not a "rainbow sheet" price list available for nicely toned, certified stuff...what is the best approach to selling them to dealers at coin shows? And do dealers even care about buying them?

It's just like selling any other coin. You'll get lowball bids and reasonable bids. Just show it around. Before you start though it is helpful to have a price in mind.

Most of them will never pay a premium for color, but they sure as hell know to add for it.

The price is set by how long it takes

to tone the coin. Some of the better

ones may take up to an entire week.

My local dealer will pay almost no premium for nice tone but sells his toned coins very high. Im not sure where he is coming from.
