Here's how you can recognize me at the FUN show Saturday...

I will be wearing my infamous, world-acclaimed Holey Coin Vest.
Note that the picture below was taken at the NCNA show in Raleigh in '99. Since then I've lost the goatee, gained a bunch of weight, and had to create the New and Improved Holey Coin Vest in a larger size (at least it has more room for coins!) I will most likely have the wife and baby Victoria in tow, so I should be one of the easiest people in the crowd to spot. Please introduce yourself!

If you are a dealer, I will be shopping for one or perhaps two of the following coins in PCGS MS62 or better:
-Barber half (also considering a PR62)
-$2 1/2 Liberty
-$5 Indian
-$10 Liberty
-$20 Saint (w/Motto)
plus
-all three types of Bicentennial Ikes in PCGS PR68 or 69 DCAM
-high grade raw Irish Republic coins, 1928-1969
-holed early date world coins, especially US large cents/gold/crowns

SEE Y'ALL THERE, I HOPE! image

  • Of course there's about a half dozen other ways to spot you in a room full of 'normal' people, Lord, but this isn't the Open Forum, so I'll just leave that one alone.

  • Great vest! Makes me want to start sewing up those holey coins you sent me a while back... I won't be a FUN but am sure you will have a great time.

If you (or anybody else) see a completely fully struck SLQ type 2 in 65 or 66 FH that doesn't look like it just took a bath please pm or email me the dealers phone number. Thanks!

Hey Lord, we have seen this vest many times over, I am wondering, do the coins hang? Thus move around or are they tacked up in more than one spot as to hold them tight to the vest?

Great Idea I must say once again,

Mrpaseo- the large cents on the back are sewn directly to the vest, but the other coins on the front are attached with fishing swivels, so they flop around...
