Newly designed Jefferson Spouse

I thought maybe this would have been better, than the original reverse.
At least is has a little substance to it.
A friend of mine has a CNC milling machine, and we entertained the idea of restriking this coin.
Infact we played around today, using the Mint's high res pics, plugging in the x,y, and z's.
Anyone want to donate a few ounces of gold?
How many tons of pressure is needed to strike a gold coin?
I hope Daniel Carr chimes in on some ideas.

Will it make the nightly news? Is Leavenworth a resort?
Can I make spouse license plates?
I like the image.

Sort of.... more of a "destination".
How small can the word "copy" be? Need a 5x loupe to see it?
So they have pools, tennis courts, hot girls serving me drinks poolside?
So does the current Jeff spouse remind you of Jefferson?
<< <i><<Nice coin, but it dosen't remind anyone of the Jefferson Presidency. You might as well make a restrike of the original drapped bust Lib>>

I would say his grave marker on the back definetly does the trick
Oh is that what that is, thought it was the Washington Monument.

If it's not a copy (an exact copy) of anything, why would it need the word copy on it? The only thing I wonder about is making a $10 coin, would that in effect be a counterfeit?
Why, because it's not an official Mint product.
If we decide to produce them they will weigh around 15 grams of 24kt gold.

They have a nice beach. It's just a really long way to the water.
If we move forward I will contact the Mint for all the specifics.
I'm sure it can't say $10 on the coin, but it can say 1/2 oz. .9999 fine gold

I suppose the Mint thought using the Monticello would have been so Jefferson-Nickel-like
It's just a prototype. It's the best image I could find, there from the image library on the Mint's website. The obverse is very similar to the
1804 silver dollar, so I guess something similar to the revese of the 1804 silver dollar would look fantastic.
I agree. How about a quill pen and the Declaration of Independence?
your design is all mixy and matchy.
The 1804 one cent piece aslo shares the flowing liberty on the obverse.
So really the whole design is mucked by the Mint.
Should I use the reverse of the 1804 dollar?
