WTB: Replacement Dansco Album Slides

I was wondering if anyone might know of a source that sells the slides that go into Danso and other albums. I have a couple of albums that I either lost the slides and/or are in very bad shape. I have searched online but haven't found any yet. I might just end up finding a source for big sheets and cut my own slides. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Robert

  • Robert,
I too have tried to find them. I've asked 3-4 differant places and was told they don't sell them seperate.
What albums are you looking for???
I have some empty albums I could get you the slides from.

Buy old dansco mint set pages, the slides are huge and you can cut them to shape...

Hey thanks Drizzt!!! I like the Eagle albums too.

  • Here is the reply from Eagle when I sent them a e-m.

We sell replacment Mylar windows for our plastic 2x2
folders for $2.95 per 40 windows. They are available
in thin windows (for 50¢, morgan dollar, and $20.00
gold size holders) or thick windows (for 1,5,10,25,
    SBA dollar size holders).

We do not offer replacment slides for Ultra (blue
jacket) albums because no one has ever requested
    these.

    Shipping & handling additional.

    Eagle Customer Service

Hope that helps more than just you and I.

I also looked online at Acetate sheets used for transparencies. When I get a chance I will go to a craft and hobby store and see if I can find anything close to the kind of material we are looking for. I would even cut my own out of sheets of acetate material.
