Inching closer to a 4-way tie?

Everything today -- so far -- is bringing us closer and closer to a 4-way tie in the NL with two playoff spots still up for grabs.

Padres lost.

Rox hung 3 on the D-Backs in the 1st inning so far. (Yeah, it's early, but the Rox are off to a good start.)

Phils and Mets are tied.

If the Rox win tonight, we need a Padres loss tomorrow and the other three teams all need to win. Then we have a four-way tie. At this point, that's what I'm rooting for!

Maybe the Phillies should quickly sign Bucky Dent?

My apologies to Red Sox fans for bringing up that name.

Gotta admit, whoever wins, it's been a roller coaster in the NL. Who would've guessed that the first NL team to clinch a playoff spot would be the Cubs?
