George Mikan 1950 Menko in Mastronet's December auction!

Hey guys, a couple of weeks ago or so I came to this board asking for your help on how to sell my George Mikan 1950 Menko card and I want to thank everybody for their help. I deceided to go with Mastronet and sent in my card to them and I am now waiting for my contract to come some time next week. Its going to be in the December Premier Auction and the starting bid is going to be $300. What do you guys think it will sell for? Anybody have any estimates for this card? Have you seen one sell in the past? Any of your thoughts or comments are appreciated. Thank you for your time

They will take 20% of that and charge the bidder another 20% buyers premium. Then at the end of the year your going to
have to pay taxes on the full $300 + any extra charge even though you recieved less than $300. I'd say you should of had it graded first
to max out your profit if you were going to give it to Mastronet auctions. Just selling it like that doesn't look very appealing and I don't
think you'll get much for it. To make a profit at Mastronet, you need to sell it for much more than $300. Other wise your just giving the
card away and the seller lose in the end.
It would have been way better to get it graded by PSA as "Authentic" with George Mikan name on the pog then sold it on EBAY.
Is George wearing Lipstick? I had no idea he was a crossdresser!~
<< <i>Is that Elton John? >>
The Babe Ruth Menko card aslo looks wierd. Tost of them look way different from the players face.
<< <i>why didnt you just EBay it>

Thats a simple one lol, it would sell for peanuts on ebay. Yeah, he look kinda funny but its Mikan. There was only one superstar in Basketball in the 50's that had glasses and looked like Mikan LOL.
<< <i>I think you'll lose all your money. Mastronet charges a BIG fee, even if you only sold it for $300. and got 1 bid.

I think it wouldn't sell for a lot of ebay. Mastronet said there going to try to send it to either PSA or SGC to get it graded or slabbed only. Do I really pay taxes for it?
Great card....For me to poop on!
