PCGS grading question: for coins with nicely toned reverses......

.....is it possible to request from PCGS at time of submission that the coin be holdered reverse-facing-forward? If yes, how is this requested?
Or is it just arbitrary which coins PCGS holders reverse-facing-forward?
Thanks for any info regarding your experience with this.

You should call customer service pretty sure they will give you the right answer.
Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
But HOW do you request for it to be holdered reverse-facing-forward?
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
<< <i>Yes, they will. >>
Great.

Anyways, I suppose I'll just write it in somewhere on the submission form, and hope for the best. The ones I'm sending are crossovers, currently reverse-facing-forward in ANACS and ICG holders. Hopefully whomever grades them will think, "hey, these sure are great on the reverse, lets flip 'em!" But there doesn't appear to be any sure-fire way to request this.......

In the past, specifically where on the form have you written this request?
Under "C. Additional Services"?

Generally in that BIG open space in the middle ; somewhere prominent so that they won't miss it.
Those are the words you use . . . place them right on the line to the right of the date/MM and I also write it on the sticker that is on the 2.5 x 2.5. I usually send 3-4 out of 10 in to have them holdered "Reverse Out" and they have never failed me. I would believe PCGS would like the visually appealing side of the coin displayed (my thought--not fact). Many ask me how it is done (I sell a few once in a while) and it never ceases to amaze me that every dealer I know asks "How did you do that???" It's not tough.
Simple. On every line just write " HOLDER REVERSE OUT ". For good measure, I highlight it in yellow and then also do the sticker thing.
I've done some tab-toned Commems, toners of all denominations (Mint Set kaleidescope reverses on Lincolns are killer), and a couple reverse-outs for type (Lib Nick Ty 1, Buffalos).
