How Was the Heritage SCD Sale?

... I heard that you could pick up buckets of them for $20. After slabbing costs, that makes the SCD itself worth about $5. I guess the marketing push was less than successful.
On the flip side, I heard one gold one hammered @ $63k ... that is HUGE!

As a child, you must of bin one to get under your parents skin so much that they sent you to a private school. This would explain alot!

DUIGUY ... didnt you're homeschoolin' learn ya how to right? I think you mint "must have been" not "must of bin", "parents' skin" not "parents skin", and "a lot" not "alot". Score one for private school you dumb hick ...
<< <i>Like I said in another thread, the timing of the auction sucked. Having an auction of the middle of the workday had to have provented many people from bidding online (I couldn't bid on a few things I wanted). I'm sure that hurt the price. >>
Apparently, they had a few auctions running concurrently as well. I do not understand why they do that ...
dried up ;-)
maybe i can get some rare coins now without so much competition.
(i went a private school too)... where they taught us how to
calculate the lowest common denominator instead of teaching
to the lowest common denominator.

Can your source provide one instance of where an individual slabbed SCD sold for $20 or less, let alone buckets of them? Unless Heritage has falsified their realized prices, the facts don't support your contention.
