I e-mailed the seller and told him it had to be a fake because Carson City didn't make any seated $'s until 1870,but apparently they didn't care enough to pull the auction ot list it as a fake.Maybe someone should report it to the E-bay police. linkedit to add the link

Actually, it sounds like his gramps haunted him, as posthumous gift-giving seems a little paranormal. (Reported, of course.)
