  • Saw this was coming up for auction; I'm not a Lincoln collector, but if I had the $$ I'd pay 10x the amount!
A truely significant artifact with great historical impact. Is this a one-of-a-kind?? If so, then make it 100k!

I wish I had bought it. It's one of those rare collectible pieces that helps make a great set of coins legendary, and really reflects well on the Lincoln collector who purchased this to go along with his set. If I wasn't deep into some other things at the moment I would have bid more. It may have been an opportunity that I will regret for a long time.

It could have just as easily been purchased by a dealer or collector for resale as well.

It's an absolutely wonderful piece of work.
