Who do you think demonstrates to you (THE CUSTOMER) the most satisfaction with grades (accuracy and consistency), customer service and overall "good feeling" with your grading experience?

I used to prefer SGC, but things are definitely different over there the last few years. I am pleased with PSA (though not lways with my grades). I'd give them a 8 out of 10. I'd give SGC 7 out of 10.

I have been submitting cards to all four of these companys for awhile now, and I still think SGC is the best. For my autograph pictures and cards, I do like PSA/DNA.

    Chaz:

Issues with SGC: Weak website & online presence, different grading standards than a couple of years ago, no longer cheaper than PSA. Nothorrible on any of them - just not as good as previously.

Not true. SGC is cheaper to submit cards then PSA.

Mike- if you can elaborate on the grading standards, I would appreciate it. I notice that PSA is particularly tough on the corners and centering. chaz

i like the guys on ebay that sell the slabbed pics out of mags in pop rivets holders lol-gives it a manley look-i betif the went to nuts and bolts they would sell more, people actually buy that garbage too is the funny thing! vsa is one of em,theresanother one but i dont rember what it is now

i tried to crack a beckett card out of the slab last week, good grief,a band saw would work the best i think, those things are tough
  • CSA. That young dude that ran CSA back in the mid 1990's was a decent guy. They couldn't grade all that well, but he was a nice friendly guy at the card shows.

I voted for SGC. A majoruty of my cards are PSA Graded and I feel they are graded correctly. The question being asked is who I find to be the "friendliest". When I go to shows and speak with the company reps I will always get a knowledgable and timely answer from SGC. There have been several times when I wait to talk to a PSA rep to ask a question (such as will they grade a certain issue) and they are not sure who I need to talk to or if they do know they are not sure when the individual will be there. Really frustrating. To be fair the SGC booth is never as busy as the PSA booth so maybe it is because they have more time to deal with me. I like competition and I am glad we at least have two grading options.

PS GAI is by far the WORST company in terms of being customer friendly!
    Collect Ozzie Guillen Cards
    Unique Chicago Cards
    Wrestling Cards
  • To answer the question, SGC in my opinion is the friendliest. I always get very quick email responses to my questions and I've always been able to get a hold of someone on the phone if needed. I'm still waiting for an email response from PSA from July and resubmitted in August.
