Vintage insert submission popped today..........

This was my first submission of 1960's inserts so I had no idea how they would grade. I was kind of figuring they would all be 7's or 8's so I guess I did pretty good with the Aaron and Stenhouse Peel-Offs. The Drysdale was disappointing as I thought that was one of the nicer ones. Oh well. I am not sure what happened with the Topps game and the Stamps. I guess I will see when I get them back.

I think you did real good on the 1963 Topps Peel Offs ! The Aaron in Psa 8 always sells for a nice price on E-Bay if you should decide to sell it ! How did you acquire your inserts ? Dave ' Robbie ' Robinson

The Peel-Offs were raw off ebay. Not all of them were like this though. I have about another 15 that I did not send in for grading. The game inserts I had for a while and the stamps were off ebay. What would the Aaron go for if I decide to ebay it?

I'd guess $50-100 on the Aaron. It would really depend where you started the bidding and how many were looking for the card.

Sagards guess as to value of the Aaron is pretty close ! And as Mike stated , I think the Peel Offs are a very under rated insert set ! I've bought a few over the last two years , but I'm not really pursuing colllecting the intire set ! I've tracked some sales of the Peel Offs , and my list is probably not complete , but I can tell you that the Aaron in Psa 8 has sold for : $103.50 ......... $106.19 ........ and the last most recent ........$59.76................maybe someone who subscribes to one of those tracking services can give you a more complete list , but at least you have a general idea of what some have sold for ! I was thinking the Aaron would be about $100.00 or so. I have a Mantle (grade 7 or 8) but could not send it in for the special because the PSA 8 value was more than the $75.00 maximum allowed. I will send that in next week along with a few other cards under the 5 day service. Maybe I should put together the set?
