Went to My Brick and Mortar Shop today Anyone care to help grade

Now I know these are not anything special. I found them in the poor man's pail. You know the one. The big pail on the corner of the counter with stapled flips and low grade coins in them. Well sometimes you can find some ok coins for some ok money. I know the pictures are terrible with the lighting but can anyone help with grade to see how far off I am and how over priced my dealer is image

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

If you paid more than $20, maybe $25, you over paid. The Quarter is harshly cleaned, as well as the bottom two buffalos. The 1930 looks like it may have been cleaed as well, hard to tell though. In XF, it bids at $8.50, scrap silver for the quarter, the 1916 buff in VF bids at 5.50, and the other two, not worth more than a buck or two (cleaned or not) a piece. How much did you pay for them?

  • Your dealer is way overpriced. Next time, bargain with him more. Remember, the reason they're in the junk box is that he couldn't sell them to begin with. That whole lot is worth maybe $12, but only if you could find someone who wants them, as they're mostly low grade and cleaned. You probably could have gotten them all for $8 and your dealer would have thanked you for taking them away.
