I have a meeting in NYC tomorrow-- does anyone know if JK Americana is open yet?
I will be in Times Square tomorrow for a meeting (unfortunately the City lost its flavor when the bums, wine-o's and street walkers were run out of town, so there might not be anything interesting to see or report on). Does anyone know if JK Americana has opened its doors yet? I am not sure if JK is going to have an office and retail presence, or whether he is just going with the virtual office set up.

You can tell us all about lunch at the Olive Garden, dinner at Bubba Gump's, and shopping at the Gap.
Of course, you could go to Dallas or just about any other U.S. city and give us the same report.
Gertrude Stein's comment about her hometown of Oakland, Calif. applies to the NYC of the 21st Century -- "There's no there there." It's all been corporatized, homogenized and mallified to the point that there's nothing distinguishing NYC from any other large city except for its size. And even then it's all just more of the same.

Go visit the Cloisters. Simply incredible.
Too bad you are in NYC one week early for viewing the Stacks Capital City sale auction lots.
