Are these really up for sale?......
For a zero feedback seller these are some mighty impressive coins. Anybody recognize any of them? I've
sent the seller an email asking for different pictures of several of the coins...we'll see what he says or what
he sends.

Yep, let him sweat for a bit first! I've requested further pics and reported. Please do the same.

The picture for this auction is PCGS price guide pic for the 1894 coin # 97229 DM

All coins pictured in my listings are the coins being auctioned.
This auction is for an 1879 S United States Silver Morgan Dollar. Coin is absolutly beautiful as you can see by my pictures.
To me, this means one of two things:
1. He really owns the coins, and those are his photos (or photos of his coins) being used by coinfacts. One would think he would note this fact as an added selling point (for example: 'This coin is a plate coin on coinfacts.com')...I doubt this is the case.
2. He is intentionally misrepresenting the coins he's selling by using stock photos and claiming they are not.
I'm inclined to go with #2, but I hope I'm wrong.
Edited to add:
I just sent him this message on the 1894 dollar:
Is this a plate coin from the PCGS price guide? It looks like the same image...

Next I emailed him and asked if he'd take $2,000 for the 94 Proof. Told him I could PayPal the money to him right away. We'll see if he takes the bait...

They're gone or I should say he's gone.

Not the coins we thought they were, big surprise. Now no reverse photos of a CC-mint Morgan. Whatever excuses he makes, he still lied about those being photos of his coins...that makes him not trustworthy in my book.

This image is lifted from Coinfacts too.

sent the following: "Greg, no response for my request for additional pics. Will you be able to send them? What's
up with the auction, I don't see it up anymore! Also, I see that you are new to ebay and I would advise to get
up to speed with the listing of these coins. Ebay does require that you post an image of the exact coin that is
being auctioned and both the front and the back. As a fellow collector I know that you know how important that
is. I would like you to send pics of any CC coins that you are selling. Thanks, bob"
Ok, we'll see what happens now.

It is a CC Morgan though, VAM-7 to be precise.
