Finally and well worth the wait! I went over these cards with a loupe and out of 75 cards from 1960, these were the ones I submitted in what I thought was my first batch (turned out to be the only batch). I must've missed a wrinkle in the Mathias card... I had penciled this card in as a 7. The Geiger card I had figured as a solid 7/with an outside shot at an 8. I'm going to take a real close look at this one to see what I missed (might be a crack and resub) The Simpson card was part of a multiple card purchase about 4-5 months ago on EBAY. One of the other cards in the purchase had a "strange" right edge that looked like it was possibly "fixed". This Simpson card looked prety good, but my inexperience with card doctoring probably hurt me on this one, as I missed something. I wish PSA would let collectors know where on the card the trimming took place (but I guess they don't want newbie submitters like me to have to much education or they lose out on the Evid Trim fees) The rest of the sub either met or exceeded expectations.

I thought the Kipp card was best chance at a 9. It must've just missed due to centering. Overall, I'm very happy with the grades and I'm very interested in looking at the 3 cards that didn't live up to expectations.

Jeff- these will be going into my registry. I'm still keeping an eye on both of your registries... you have a couple in the 2nd one I need (plus I'm trying to keep ahead of that "doubles" set..LOL) I'm almost ready for a bulk sub and I'm about to submit a 5 day special and should have a couple to trade when that comes back.
I'm going to post scans of the evid trim card and hopefully get some input from the group on what to look for and where on the card the doctoring took place.
