Non Paying Bidder Question

I have sold an item to a person on ebay with a feedback score of over 2200. He won 5 cards from me 2 weeks ago and hasn't paid yet. I contacted him last week and he told me that he was waiting for funds to clear in his paypal account. He told me that he would have the payment sent by Thursday or Friday of Last week. It's Tuesday night and I still haven't received payment. Is it time to submit a Non-Paying Bidder complain to E-bay. I'm afriad I'm gonna get neg'ed and my feedback score is 100%. Any suggestions. If I don't get payment his name will be posted on this board.

  • I don't think it's too late. I always do this on the seventh day, if I haven't heard from the buyer. I make exceptions if they contact me and tell me something has happened, but not often. Good luck.

    EDIT: File it.
  • File it, a neg is nothing to be scared of.
  • As Bill Clinton used to say, I feel your pain. But the concern of losing my 100% positive to some jackhole becomes less every day. I'm more than generous in waiting for payment & simple communication goes a long way, but I'm sick of buyers with 10 million positives who "buy" then disappear for weeks telling me "Look at my feedback" after filing a NPB — all that matters to me is the *current* transaction. I can't go into the grocery store without my wallet & ask that they hold my items until I'm ready to pay (look at my credit score, it's perfect!).

File it against the deadbeat & move on.
