Are un-certified 8 x 10 autos sellable ?

I have about a dozen 8x10 autos that I either obtained in person or bought before autograph authentication became prevalent, I have them framed laying on the floor in my office. They are taking up a lot of room and I have been wanting to get rid of them. Is there any market in these since I have no certification on them ? I would like to get rid of them in sale or trade but don't know how many people would want un-certified autos.

Sure there is a market for these 8x10's autos. Just look at ebay. They are everywhere. If the price is right and the auto. looks legit,I buy them quite often. Of coarse I prefer to have them certified PSA/DNA. You will get quite of bit more money too if you had these certified.

There's certainly a market for them on the Bay, as someone else pointed out. Some people will take a chance if it looks good (not suggesting yours aren't 100% legit), and, yes, there are lots of people who have no idea what PSA or JSA even means. I'd suggest looking at closing prices on ebay for similar items and see whether it's worth the time & money to have them authenticated — are the authenticated ones bringing in *enough* extra to make it worth the investment?

You might also just try listing here in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum & avoid the ebay headache & fees altogether. With some obvious exceptions (not naming names), there seems to be a good amount of trust here.

Thanks Guys, From the responses I have been receiving about the Autos it seems that there is indeed more interest than I anticipated. I am just ready to move the things out of my Office, They have been either in my office or room for 20 years.

having it already framed is a positive. ive seen unauthenticated autos on 8x10's with low starting bids that do very well when framed.
