A Ebay related Q...shipping to confirmed addresses

Ok, I don't do a whole lot of Ebay stuff but think I might have messed up a listing. If you list an item and put in the auction "shipping to paypal confirmed addresses only" ...are you then not supposed to accept accept checks? If it is ok to list it that way, how would one confirm the address if someone is sending a check.

The paypal confirmed address statement would only make sense applied to paypal payments. The confirmed addresses prevents someone from paying with someone else's paypal acct and having the coin shipped to his hotel room. checks have their own set of challenges.

Thanks, that's what I figured. So with a zero feedback bidder, should I ex post facto request Ebay ID verification?, actually she plans on sending a money order or certified check, and my concern is that it may be fake....

  • Maybe tell her to use a USPS money order?

Not likely to be fake. Look for a watermark and letter rip.
