I can find no history on values for this coin.

Thanks in advance !!

In 2+ years of collecting over 10,000 VAM sales prices for VAMview I have not seen any transactions for this coin.
    When in doubt, don't.

If it is the one I am thinking of, it's an interesting one. Pitted dies for the date are highly collectible and should bear some premiums. Some of the ones that aren't pitted dies, wide reeds, or cuds more often don't get the premiums but are, rather, cherrypicking targets. That no pricing exists currently makes it tough. It hasn't been commoditized, unlike the more well-known ones, and would need to find the right buyers to actually make it saleable for a premium.

  • I have one that has a bit more of the pitting than yours but mine is about AU50. PCGS will slab it but will not attribute it with a VAM number as they haven't gotten very far yet.

Send it into ANAC's if you want it attributed and slabbed. I have a couple of boxes of VAM's that I am waiting on PCGS to catch up on....

    Hi Dennis

Would the fact that there are so few or for that matter no transactions for this coin be a good thing or a bad thing ?

It seems that with so few coins to go around that the value would increase or I gues the opposite could be true that with no market the coin actually has little demand .

My interpretation, combined with the fact we chose not to include it in the VAMview Retail Price Guide, is that VAM 3N doesn't have much collector demand/interest to warrant people looking for them, noticing them, wanting them, and offering them for sale... just like the overwhelming majority of most VAMs.
