Anybody collect vintage wax packs?

I'm new to the boards here, but a long time collector of non sport packs and cards. I am interested in hearing from other wax pack collectors! What is the gem of your collection? I wish PSA would add a graded pack to each set to entice collectors to grade. It would also allow others to see what is in your collection and who has the best pack of a certain series. I have managed to get a few GAI 10's (Green Hornet, Green Hornet Stickers, Planet of the Apes 1975, Star Wars Series 2, to name a few). What are your high grades? Thanks to all.

I haven't been buying graded packs so much as getting raw wax slabbed that I acquired before the advent of pack grading. I'll post some pics in a bit. The reason I have them slabbed is really only for protection as the grades aren't important to me , particularly for harder to find stuff. I'm quite interested in dispaly boxes as well, not as many collectors of those around it seems.

My graded packs include a 1964 Beatles Color pack graded 9.5. A close second on my list of favorites is my "Scoop" pack from 1954 graded 8.5. I have a few 1959 Topps Football Cello packs that I plan to get graded. A full unopened box of 59 Topps Cello packs sold for over $42,000.00 at auction a year or so ago. As for Baseball I have a a few 1975 Topps Minni's that are really sharp and should grade well. I'm still looking for some vintage hockey packs from the mid to late 60's.

My graded Packs include:
1966 Three Stooges 7.5- Oops- That's right had to open it.
1959 Three Stooges Fleer- Oops That's right had to open it !!!
1966 Superman- Oops- That's right had to open it !!!!
1966 Topps Batman Black Bat-Oops that's right had to open it !!!
1967 Leaf Garrison's Gorillas- Many packs-That's right opened them !!!
1966 Monster Laffs- Many Cello Packs- Oh That's right I opened them !!!!

WOW, I would seem to have some sort of Fetish about opening Packs.......
So moral of the story....Don't give me an unopened pack or it could be like your Sister after the Prom-------Opened !!!!

i have a few non sports graded packs left they include 1966 green berets gai 8.5 ...1964 voyage to the bottom of the sea gai 5.5.. 1966 monsters laff cello pack gai 9..and plenty of vintage sports...1961 fleer baseball gai 6 ...1959 topps baseball cello packs ..1962 topps football packs (on ebay now)and 1956 topps football pack and 1961 nu football packs..also some 1979/80 opc hockey unopened...i love unopened wax...terry
