Well, I know one thing that'll get ya, and that's the rip tides. Blue or green, depending on the water color at that time. Spent two weeks on Kauai for our honeymoon in 1981, got up the first morning and jumped into the ocean for the first time in my life, loving every minute, the taste of the water, the waves, the rapidly receding shoreline in the distance. Almost made my wife a widow that first day. Later that same day, I found the notice posted in the kitchen about rip tides in that location, and about swimming parallel to the shore. End of story time. Word to the wise, Liberator.

The best part is I am on the ground level and can walk out right and climb down right to the small beach. Thank goodness, we are elevated up a bit from the ocean in case global warming causes the ocean to rise 3 or 4 feet or more. . The island of Lanai can be seen in the distance.
Do your best to avoid circular arguments, as it will help you reason better, because better reasoning is often a result of avoiding circular arguments.

Always a fun place to visit, no matter which island. If you like the outdoors, nice weather and beaches, it's THE place to be. We've been there 5 times and always want to return. Oh yeah, the blue coin...
Don't miss snorkeling (even if you've never done it before) at Hanauma Bay on Oahu. They rent masks and fins. I lived there for 15 years and it is my favorite place on any island to spend a day.

Maui and Oahu! Plus maybe some day trips to another island too.
