  • Looks like no one bid on it prior to the auction ending.

i'm assuming he took an offer outside of ebay. probably will end up in a nice registry set.

Check out the bid history, the seller canceled all bids. Someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

I was one of the high bidders...I hate when people end auctions early.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

any guesses as to what price it brought?

I didn't think that card existed in a 10. I've got about 12 raw, stright form racks and none of them are better than an 8.
Great card. Would have looked great in my set.

i've tried and have never yielded above an 8 myself. centering always hurt me....along with the ink smudge at the cap.

    Thanks,

  • ld----imo that card is very far from a ten and would never want it in my collection anyway. ive got the same card twice in psa 6 holders due to the smudge why i dunno for the longest time they wouldnt let the smudge through then on one big submission from one of the big boys the pop jumped from like 5 to 35, an about 15 had the smudge from what i heard. Anyone see what a 9's been fetching?

Yikes. I'm sure the card is great, but the smearing of the letters would make the card a bit less than the grade on the flip.

the smearing is nasty no doubt. but this one looks better than most i've seen along with nice centering (very slight tilt).

    Thanks,
