Is eBay and Paypal painfully show for everyone today?

If it were this show everyday I'd have to quit. I just wouldn't have time. It's taken me all afternoon to ship 8 packages. --jerry

    Good idea. My ISP (Time Warner) had an outage this weekend. Came back ok Sunday but I haven't rebooted. --Jerry

    Just called my ISP and the recorded message says they know about it and are working on it. So having to go slow today makes me realize the followings:

    1. Ebay and Paypal are bandwidth hogs--probably because of security. Without bad guys creating the need for so much encription, the internet would fly today. With today's encription, it would have been so slow as to have never gotten off the ground. I don't know how dialuppers do it.

    2. This site is very efficient and seems minimally affected by the slowdown.

    3. Other e-commerce sites are also affected. Very slow.

    4. Time Warner sucks. I tried to leave them several months ago when they pi$$ed me off over a DVR and total lack of respect for my time. So I told them to Kiss my a$$, I'd be going to sattelite TV. I changed that day. The sattelite guys are great--because there are two companies competing for my business. I changed my ISP to earthlink. At the end of the phonecall with earthlink they said "ok, our contractor, Time Warner, will be contacting you to set up your service. image

    I'm going to bed. I can't take bandwidth starvation....
